MAIL AGENT 1.1.0 · SETUP AND UPDATES

Connect your mailbox.
Keep control of sending.

1. Download with Enterprise

Sign in to CodaRoq and open My account → Licenses. Your active MCP Enterprise licence includes a separate Mail Agent download. Personal download links expire after 36 hours; open the licence page for a fresh link. No separate Mail Agent key or checkout is required.

For your own websites, open WooCommerce → Eigene Lizenzen on CodaRoq. Create or retrieve the target website’s MCP Enterprise licence, then choose Schlüssel & Download. Download both MCP and Mail Agent. The central Licensing plugin stays on CodaRoq.

Get your Enterprise download →Explore Enterprise

2. Install on the target WordPress website

  1. Use WordPress 6.9+, PHP 7.4+ and HTTPS. Back up an existing installation before upgrading.
  2. Install CodaRoq MCP 1.6.1 or newer using Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Under Settings → CodaRoq MCP, select Enterprise, enter the website’s Enterprise key and activate it.
  4. Upload and activate codaroq-mail-agent-1.1.0.zip.
  5. Open Settings → CodaRoq Mail → Settings.

This is a WordPress plugin. For a Cliniroq WordPress website, use that website’s own Enterprise entitlement; it is not a generic import into the clinical application.

3. Configure your mailbox

Enter the business mailbox address carefully. Each installation supports one mailbox; the address becomes read-only after saving. This keeps old messages and queued drafts attached to the same mailbox. The sender name and connection credentials remain editable.

For IMAP/SMTP, enter the provider’s public server names, TLS ports, usernames and passwords, and enable PHP IMAP on the host. For Hostinger, configure a token authorised for the selected mailbox. Save, then choose Test incoming and outgoing. Run the initial inbox synchronisation. Enter secrets only in the administrator settings.

4. Connect your AI client and choose sending permissions

Connect to the site’s CodaRoq MCP endpoint using OAuth. Refresh or reconnect the client after installing Mail Agent so the mail tools appear. Grant the read, reply, compose and send scopes needed for the task. Grant mail.organize to archive or move individual messages.

New installations have autonomous sending disabled. Start with reviewed drafts. The switch KI darf selbstständig senden und antworten allows authorised agents to send without individual approvals; disabling it restores the configured review policy. This switch applies to new messages and replies across every review mode. You can also select automatic low-risk sending for new messages and replies. Existing reply-only settings are preserved on upgrade. New-message composition and sending remain separate operations bound to the exact draft.

An external agent or scheduler must perform AI work. The five-minute inbox synchronisation does not write replies by itself. Incoming email content cannot authorise changes to software or permissions.

5. Updates and existing installations

From Mail Agent 1.0.0 with MCP 1.6.1+, available official updates appear in the normal WordPress update manager using the active MCP Enterprise entitlement. No second activation is consumed. Automatic installation remains your WordPress setting.

Update MCP to 1.6.1+ first, then update Mail Agent to 1.1.0. MCP 1.6.0 cannot load the current Mail Agent tools; reconnecting alone does not resolve that dependency. Older Mail Agent installations without updater support require the ZIP upgrade. Replace the existing plugin through the WordPress upload/update workflow; do not uninstall it first. The upgrade retains the existing mailbox, encrypted credentials, sending policy and stored records. Existing CodaRoq installations retain their original mailbox.

After installation, check mailbox identity, connection status, Enterprise status and sending permissions. Validate the initial workflow with a test mailbox and synthetic messages. No live mail send was performed as part of this release.

6. Outbox, Sent, archive and subfolders

Postausgang lists this plugin’s new messages, replies, pending drafts, sent items and uncertain attempts with pagination. History follows the configured draft retention, 90 days by default. Sent means accepted by the transport, not confirmed delivery. SMTP sends are recorded here; SMTP alone does not save a copy in the server Sent folder.

Serverordner reads live folders, including mail sent by other clients. Open a message to archive it or move it into an existing subfolder. Create extra folders in your mail program. IMAP moves require UID MOVE support. If no unique archive exists, select the destination explicitly. For a complete external sending-history check, read all relevant pages of the server Sent folder.

Existing flattened drafts are not rewritten automatically; recreate and review them if needed. A send or move with an uncertain result is retained for inspection and is not blindly retried.

Scope and data

Plain-text messages, preserved paragraphs and attachment metadata are supported. Attachment bytes, HTML sending, CC/BCC, permanent deletion and folder creation/deletion are outside this release. Mail accessed by an external AI client may leave WordPress for processing; choose providers and permissions that meet your organisation’s requirements.
