Start with CodaRoq Accounting
CHF 200 per year for one WordPress website. Accounting is a complete paid plugin; no Free base plugin is required. You can use it locally without MCP.
1. Install your plugin
- Purchase CodaRoq Accounting. After payment, use the protected ZIP link and licence key in your confirmation. Fresh links are available in My account → Licenses.
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Install the Accounting ZIP and activate it.
- Open Buchhaltung → Einstellungen. Enter your own company details, bank information, accounting start date and tax settings. Review the chart of accounts for your business.
- Open Buchhaltung → Lizenz & MCP and activate your Accounting key. Use the Demo workspace to familiarise yourself with the workflow.
2. Keep Accounting up to date
Activate your Accounting licence under Buchhaltung → Lizenz & MCP. Available updates appear in the normal WordPress update manager during your paid term. Back up your database and private evidence archive before updating, then install the update through WordPress → Updates.
3. Automate with Enterprise MCP
- Install CodaRoq MCP 1.6.0 or newer and activate a separate Enterprise subscription. Core and Commerce do not unlock accounting tools.
- Follow the MCP connection guide, connect the endpoint to a compatible client using OAuth, and grant the accounting scopes you need. The connected WordPress user must also have the corresponding accounting permissions.
- Start with: “Check Accounting status and integrity in the Demo workspace.” Then ask for the available accounts or a report.
- For writes, provide an explicit task with the workspace, date, amount and accounts. Prepare drafts first where supported. Corrections use reversal entries rather than overwriting posted records.
Supported tools cover contacts, document drafts and issuing, journal entries and reversals, recording completed payments, reports, integrity and signed exports. MCP does not initiate bank payments. AI-client access and usage costs are separate. Scheduled unattended work requires a scheduler in the client or your infrastructure.
4. Licence and renewal
The CHF 200 subscription renews every 12 months until cancelled. There is no trial or setup fee. Cancel through My account to stop future renewals. Official downloads, available updates and support are included during the paid term. The installed local version and your existing accounting data remain available after expiry.
For a website move, deactivate the old site in Buchhaltung → Lizenz & MCP, move the plugin and records, then activate on the new address. If the previous site is unavailable, contact support for the occupied licence seat.
5. Requirements and troubleshooting
WordPress 6.6+, PHP 8.1+, MySQL/MariaDB with InnoDB and named locks. Signed exports require OpenSSL and ZipArchive. WooCommerce 8.2+ is optional. Keep the private archive inaccessible from the public web; on Nginx, configure the deny rule from the plugin documentation.
Licence/update checks send the key, installation identifier, site URL and plugin version to codaroq.com over HTTPS. They do not send bookings, contacts or documents. A separately authorised MCP client receives the data exposed by the tools you permit.
